Basic Quality Policy
Mitsuboshi Belting Group has established a quality assurance system to improve the quality of products and services provided to customers based on its "Basic Management Policy" as its "Basic Quality Policy" and its "Code of Conduct on Quality" and is working to improve the quality of its products and services.

Correspondence to quality assurance by acquiring a quality management system
Regarding quality management systems, in order to become the world's top-level quality system factory for automobile-related parts, we have acquired the international quality standard IATF16949 certification for the automobile industry and ISO9001 certification for various products at domestic and overseas factories. , We are strengthening our quality assurance system.

QC (Quality Control) Circle Activities to Improve Employee Quality Awareness
The Mitsuboshi Belting Group has returned to the "Basic Quality Policy" and is promoting company-wide quality management (TQM). As part of this, we have been engaged in QC (quality control) circle activities since 1967, but in recent years we have expanded beyond domestic factories to overseas and have become established as a place for global human resource development and improvement activities. Since 2020, it has not been implemented from the viewpoint of preventing infection with the new coronavirus, but every fall, the "Mitsuboshi Belting Global QC Circle Tournament" is held to provide examples of on-site product quality control and work efficiency improvement. We make presentations and strive for mutual study. In addition, we are actively participating in external QC circle presentations, such as the selection circles making announcements at the QC circle national convention sponsored by the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers, in an effort to improve their level.
Circles selected from each base of the Mitsuboshi Belting Group gathered in Indonesia in 2019, and the Mitsuboshi Belting Global QC Circle Tournament was held.
All the participants wore the same costumes and participated in the tournament, creating a sense of unity. In addition, exchanges such as sharing the activities of each base were born, and it became a meaningful place.

In Japan, we hold QC circle company-wide competitions twice a year.
In FY2021, participants at each site tried the first online format and took sufficient measures to prevent infection with the new coronavirus.
By making it an online presentation, it was a good opportunity for various people to attend at each base.

GLOBAL GENBA KAIZEN ACTIVITY
Young staff from each base in Japan and overseas play a central role in developing human resources while systematically advancing cost reduction themes such as improving productivity and yield at factories and reducing quality.
One or more themes will be selected from each base, and domestic factory staff and overseas factory staff will work together to resolve each theme. We are working to raise the level of improvement activities through regular progress report meetings with senior staff and annual activity result presentations at overseas factories.
In 2020, due to the influence of the new coronavirus, the activity result presentation at overseas factories was canceled, but as a result of further enhancing the internal communication environment and utilizing remote meetings etc., active communication was achieved, the number of activity themes Is 113% compared to the previous year (15 cases in 2019 → 17 cases in 2020), further accumulating the cost reduction effect.
