Environmental Data
Material balance
It represents the input amount of resources and energy used in business activities and the environmentally hazardous substances (outputs) generated by the activities. (Results of 8 domestic bases in 2020)
Building a decarbonized society
In response to one of the goals of the SDGs, "Taking concrete measures against climate change," we have been working to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions. We will set medium- to long-term goals for reducing CO2 emissions and fulfill our social responsibilities.
Energy consumption (GJ)
As a whole company, we are working on systematic equipment renewal and production efficiency improvement such as LED conversion. We set targets every year and work to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
CO2 emissions (t)
We are working to reduce CO2 emissions by introducing energy-saving equipment and promoting energy conversion. We are considering expanding the introduction of renewable energy.
Building a resource-cycle society
From the collection of raw materials necessary for products and services to the use and disposal of products, we are working to make effective use of resources from the perspective of the life cycle.

Environmentally hazardous substance management
We are working to reduce the burden on the environment by properly managing the chemical substances used and the chemical substances contained in our products. We are promoting green procurement in cooperation with our suppliers.
Chemical substance discharge / movement amount (t)
We manage chemical substances by classifying them into "prohibited substances", "restricted substances", "controlled substances", and "monitoring substances", and strive to understand and reduce the amount of emissions and movements of substances subject to PRTR.
VOC emissions (t)
Volatile organic solvents (VOCs) are used in the painting and bonding processes. We have achieved and maintained the goal of the Japan Rubber Manufacturers Association (50% reduction compared to the actual results in 2000) by making paints and adhesives water-based and reducing the solvent of adhesives.
